Prince George golf & Curling club
Located in a park-like setting the Prince George Golf and Curling Club offers an enjoyable test of golf for the low handicapper as well as the weekend golfer. In addition to a championship golf course the club also has 8 sheets of curling ice, 5 racket courts, a driving range and complete dining/lounge facilities.
The golf course was established in 1946 and amalgamated with the curling club in 1973 to form the present Prince George Golf and Curling Club. The Club has numerous facilities that help to make it one of the most respected and diversified clubs in northern British Columbia.
The curling history is lengthy going back to 1920. The club has hosted many provincial and national tournaments including the Scott Tournament of Hearts - Women’s Canadian Championship in 2000 and was named "CURLING CLUB OF THE YEAR" by Curl BC.
On the golf side tree lined fairways are generous off the tee box, but precision shot making is required into the greens. It’s easy to walk the level to rolling fairways. An exciting variety of Par 3’s, Par 4’s and Par 5’s require you to play every club in your bag. Sand bunkers, water hazards and challenging greens make this Par 71 course one of north central BC’s favorites.
The Club has hosted numerous Provincial championships and also hosted the BC Amateur in 2000.
The club is a members’ club, but all facilities are open to the general public as well.
We invite you to come and visit us to golf, curl, and use the driving range or partake in our dining/lounge facitlities and experience us for yourself.
